Metaprise was founded in 2021 in New York City with a bold thesis: the construction industry needed its own financial operating system — not another generic AR/AP tool with a construction label slapped on it.

We saw that construction companies operating as both general contractors and subcontractors face unique financial complexity that no existing platform addressed. Procore manages project data. Sage records transactions. But nobody was controlling when money actually moves.

That's the gap Metaprise fills. We're the execution layer — the retainage reality management platform that treats retainage as an execution engine with conditional logic, not just a recording field.
